Good old mom and pop place. Authentic flavor. Had the bun cha Hanoi, really good. Bun mam is really yummy as well. The extra chilly and garlic is perfect with bun mam if u love spicy food
We had bun cha Ha Noi and Canh Bun. Food portion and taste were perfect. Plenty of veggies and the side of ground pepper/garlic was spicy but I enjoy the hot kick! They also had a row of desserts, so maybe we’ll be back to try that next time.
Honestly really unexpected. I came here with a friend for a quick dinner and lemme tell you its big bang for your buck. 30$ and both of you will leave unexpectedly extra full. I got the Bún Chả Hanoi and some shrimp springrolls. Portions are huge!! The owners are super sweet and you can tell they put a lot of love in their food. The presentation is lovely and the flavors are really strong and in your face as most viet cuisines are. The whole restaurant is super clean and organized too. Atop of things they gave free samples of a bunch of other dishes and desserts! I cant wait to revisit again.
Mom and pop style. Food is good. Quantity not much. Expect from a medium to a slow service. They need to hire more people to clean the place. They need to hire someone to arrange the place properly.
They have authentic bun mam similar to what I had in Vietnam a few weeks ago. I highly recommend the dipping one (Ha noi) as well .Obama tried this exact dish in Vietnam. Their che is also good. I like their variety but they sell out fast. Def come early
Came in around 8am. Had the Bún Mam. Food was pretty decent. Service was lacking with it being so early. I’ll give them another chance down the road
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 Xoi Che Houston is a must try spot! My family and I ordered 2 Vermicelli with deep fried fish fillet- Ha Noi Style, Crab Egg Rolls and some sweet Vietnamese desserts. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The portion size is huge for me. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made our whole dine-in experience even better. Highly recommend!!!!!
Came for late lunch. The service was average but I gave an extra star only because I think the owner (not our server) came to us several times to ask if we needed anything. We ordered regular eggrolls but they ran out and the (owner) came to our table to offer us crab eggrolls which he said costs more but he would replace with at no extra charge. The Bun Cha Ha Noi, their signature dish is a must try. Very flavorful. The pho was surprisingly delicious. I've eaten pho at many places and would rank this among my top 10. The beef slices were so tender and fresh and the meat balls same. Next thing I know I finished the whole soup. They have a variety of menu options to choose from to fit many different tastes. There's also dessert (Che) or take out dishes to choose as well. We came around 1:30 and their che desserts were almost gone. Pretty popular. One thing I want to add is the menu name was different from the sign outside or on google. It says Hanoi Quan instead of Xoi Che Houston so not sure if they are in process to change names?
